How To

What is a Battery pack? And how can I replace it.

The main power source for your drone's motors is the battery pack. These packs provide enough power to keep your quadcopter in flight safely and smoothly.

A new drone will likely not have any noticeable differences in its battery pack. Over time, however, your battery pack may start to wear down. You might lose your drone's ability to function properly. You will need to replace the battery in your drone to ensure it continues to function properly.

It's better to use the original battery pack when replacing it. A faulty battery pack could cause serious damage to your drone.

These steps will help you replace your battery pack.

  1. Disconnect the battery connector cable. This ensures your drone doesn’t receive any electricity. Simply pull the cable from the drone to disconnect the battery connector.
  2. Unscrew the battery. Remove the battery pack from your quadcopter's bottom. The battery pack will usually fall apart into two pieces.
  3. Find the battery contacts. Once you've removed the battery pack, look around for the battery contacts. These small metal pins link the battery and the rest of your drone's components.
  4. Install the battery. Next, attach the new battery to the drone. Then align the battery connectors on the battery pack's two sides. Next, place the battery pack on the drone. Once the battery is in place, tighten all bolts.
  5. Reattach the connector cable to the battery. Connect the drone's battery connector cable once you have installed the new pack.
  6. The drone should be tested. Check that your drone still works properly before you fly it again. Congratulations!
