How To

How to Repair a Damaged Motor on a Drone

To repair a motor damaged, the first step is to identify which part is broken. The best way to do so is to take the propeller off the motor shaft. You should then remove the wires that are attached to the motor, and examine the inner workings. If you notice something amiss, you'll know what part of your motor to fix.

If the motor has not been damaged, it is safe to fly again.

Imagine that the motor has become bent to the point it will not turn. The motor will need to be bent back into its original shape. For this purpose, you could use a vice grip to hold the motor and bend it back into shape. After you have completed this step, be sure to inspect the motor for any signs of wear.

Once everything looks good, you can put the propeller back on the motor shaft. Then, reattach the wires. Your drone is now ready to fly!
