How do you clean your drone?

Before cleaning your drone, here are some tips. This guide will teach you how to extract every bit from your drone.

  1. You need the right tools. Before you begin anything, ensure you have all of the necessary tools. You will need a soft toothbrush (or a brush) and a cleaning product (we recommend WD40).
  2. Disconnect the battery pack. The first thing you need to do is remove the battery from the drone's bottom. It's easy to locate the battery underneath the propeller. Be careful not to loose screws during removal.
  3. Take off all parts. Next, you'll need to carefully remove all of the parts from the underside of your drone. Be sure to secure all parts securely, or they could come off as you clean the drone.
  4. Use a cleaning solution. Now it's time for your drone to be cleaned. We recommend that you use WD40 as a cleaning agent before doing this. Simply spray the entire surface of your drone with the cleaner, making sure to get in between each component. Before you attach everything, let it dry completely.
  5. Turn on the battery. Finally, once you've cleaned your drone, it's important to put the battery back in place. So you can check the performance of your drone after cleaning it.
